The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that last Friday’s highly visible SWAT deployment near Manson, was related to the high profile theft of multiple firearms in September…

That’s Dave Helvey, Chief of Special Operations at the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office…

28-year old Robert Bell, of Chelan, and his 34-year old girlfriend, Luz Rosales, are believed to be responsible for the September 7 burglary in the Union Valley area that led to last Friday’s SWAT deployment.

The pair were arrested September 27 near the Chelan Municipal Airport…

Interestingly, when the pair were first arrested on September 27- Bell was charged with 29 felony charges- including theft of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm and trafficking stolen property in the first degree.

According to today’s Chelan County Regional Justice Center roster, Bell is being held on just 2 charges- burglary in the first degree and theft in the first degree. His bail is set at $100,000

In contrast- his girlfriend, and partner in crime, Luz Rosales, is now being held on 26 felony charges- her bail has been set at $25,000.

We know she has been actively contacting acquaintances in the Chelan Valley from inside the jail- trying to raise the funds for her $25,000 bail- so far, she has been unsuccessful.
