Theater Under The Stars Returns To Downtown Chelan on June 26, 2019
CHELAN, WA, June 11, 2019: Theater Under The Stars in Chelan, WA, will begin its summer season of thirty-nine live performances on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, bringing back regular live theater to the Lake Chelan Valley. The theater will open and present original family-friendly broad comedy farce musicals throughout the summer of 2019, with performances at 8pm on Wednesday to Saturday evenings until Labor Day weekend. Two musical farces will rotate all summer long and include “Perry Hotter & The High School Musical,” a mash-up parody of the popular books with the Disney teen staple, and “The Miserable Phantom of the Op’ry,” a mash-up of “Les Miz” and “Phantom of the Opera,” with popular Country Music hits mixed in.
Evening performances will begin at 8:00pm at the theater’s new location in downtown Chelan at 204 East Okanogan Avenue, at the corner of Emerson and Okanogan, just two blocks south of Woodin Avenue and less than a five minute walk from Campbells.
“I created the theater to give the family an evening activity that they all could enjoy together and create memories of an enchanting shared fun experience,” explained Owner and Artistic Director Steve Taylor. “Our shows present live comedy theatrical experiences that are both safe for the family audience and clever enough to entertain all ages at the same time.”
Tickets range in price from $19 to $24 and can be purchased 24/7 from the theater website, via phone by calling 888-473-7869 Wednesday through Saturday 1pm to 5pm, or in person at the theater box office. Family and group rates are available. For more information
