The Washington Apple Education Foundation is the charity of Washington’s tree fruit industry with a mission to impact lives through access to educational opportunities.

And, impacting lives they are.

Each spring, the Washington Apple Education Foundation awards scholarships to deserving students and a scholarship luncheon is held to honor the scholarship recipients and gather business, industry and community members for a celebration of these students and their education through the support of the foundation’s scholarship program.

This year, that celebration was held Monday afternoon- and Washington Apple Education Foundation Executive Director, Jennifer Witherbee, says it was a banner year for scholarships…
