IN SOCCER:

The Lady Trojans fell to a strong Brewster Bears team Tuesday night. Early goals made it 2-0 quickly although Manson showed bright spots on the attack. Evelyn DeJesus and Nadia Verdusco forced saves from the Brewster goalkeeper in the first half. Manson improved in the second half as they continued to attack and only giving up one one goal on the defensive side. Miriam Acosta, the Lady Trojan goalkeeper came up with a number of fine saves to keep Manson in the game. Overall, it was a good improvement on the offensive side of the ball against a team that Manson failed to get a shot on in the first game.
