43-year old, Christopher Stotko, of Manson, was charged in Douglas County last week, with 12 counts of forgery and one count of second degree theft related to money taken from an addiction recovery group home where he was living at the time.

More recently, in July 2014, he was sentenced to 7 ½ months in jail for stalking and attempted burglary, after he broke into a house on North Bradley in Chelan through a sliding glass door before being confronted by the homeowner with a handgun.

In March of this year, Stotko was again arrested on suspicion of residential burglary after entering a house at Sumerset Vista, in Manson.

He was awaiting trial for those charges, and living at the Oxford House, in East Wenatchee, when officials say he wrote checks to himself totaling more than $1,800 from the group home’s account.

East Wenatchee Assistant Police Chief, Dan Ryerson, said the Douglas County Prosecutors Office filed charges against Stotko on Thursday of last week…
