Still don’t have your Christmas Tree up?

According to Chelan District Ranger, Kari Grover-Wier, it’s not too late to get out into the forest and cut one down…

The $5 permit is good for one tree, up to 15 feet tall.

And, Kari says, the Forest Service has a few other requests and tips for your Christmas Tree cutting adventure…

When you do find the perfect tree- be sure to be fire smart. A small fire that spreads to a Christmas tree can grow very quickly.
