Bob Doggett and his wife Sarah Fox have been a part of the Chelan Valley since 2002.  They are thrilled to be able to participate and support Chelan's thriving community and have enjoyed raising their son Caden here.  Local Myth Pizza is celebrating it's 17th year in Chelan, continuing it's tradition of providing handmade, artisan style pizza, salads and desserts, using the freshest ingredients, as well as offering many local wines and beer favorites.

It all began in June of 2000, an long hard fought battle was won. The doors to Lone Pine Fruit & Espresso had officially opened, for good. The vision of Jim Walker and tireless effort of manager, Jenny Robelia with her 'rock star' staff proudly bring you a fabulous mix of old & new. We wanted a unique business specializing in old fashioned values, farm fresh to consumer, & supporting local artists. Lone Pine is farmer owner and grown.

Jim is an orchardist, owner of an agriculture based trucking company, and agri-tourism business. With the help of our staff, friends, family, & loyal customers the rest is history.

At Riverwalk Books, our mission is to be the quintessential community bookstore. As a brick & mortar store, we strive to bring knowledge, passion and character to the art of bookselling in the Lake Chelan Valley.

The Apple Cup Café has been a fixture in Chelan since 1957. The current owner, Dian Prentice has lovingly run the restaurant for nearly 20 years. Dian has recently announced her retirement and will be passing the business on to her son Ryan Peterson and his girlfriend Erin Briggs in the coming year. Ryan grew up in Chelan having graduated CHS in 2005 and is loving being back in the area. Erin is an Olympia native that graduated in 2009 from the University of Oregon. Both have the same passion for customer service and home-style feel that Dian has instilled in the Apple Cup for the past 20 years. Ryan and Erin look forward to becoming more of a part of this wonderful, thriving community!

It all began as an electrician in the service, when I was discharged in 1969 I held a couple of different jobs and then opened up my own electrical contracting business in 1972, Bob's Electric. We moved to Chelan in 1986 where I worked both here and in Olympia until 2005 at which time I closed down my business in Olympia. Steve (our son) went to work with us and we opened up Lake Chelan Lighting Center and expanded the electrical. Not long after that the Company that Mike (another son) was working with quit his business, what else could we do?  He is a painter so we opened up Serafini Painting. It is now a combination of 3-businesses, Bob's Electric, Lake Chelan Lighting and Serafini Painting family owned and operated.

I have a huge passion for cars and have had an opportunity to be around all types. I lived in Japan and got a chance to see many imports, lived in Italy and got to see many exotic European cars and also was able to make a stop at Lamborghini’s factory. Recently, my pursuits in security changed and was given the chance to do something that I have a love for, is being around cars and able to make a living off of it. With timing and luck on my side, I was able to take what Rick Dodge at Chelan Printing and Custom signs and develop a fully dedicated detailing shop with the direction of giving the owners back a little of what time and the environment has taken away from them.

I was born in Colorado and as a kid moved with the family to Washington and lived as a “westsider” until I graduated high school and became a Marine in 2000. There, I protected nuclear assets for a two year period and then was stationed in Hawaii. From Hawaii, I deployed with a Marine Expeditionary Unit to areas around China, Australia and the Phillipines. I then finished my 4 years honorably and came back to Seattle and eventually found myself working for a client in Seattle. I then went to WSU and graduated with a degree in Economics and came back to Seattle and continued in security. Eventually, layoffs came around to me and this gave me an opportunity to start over. With this chance, I came to Chelan with the great timing Chelan Fire and Rescue offering volunteer opportunities, so with much excitement, I applied, and with much pleasure, I am currently apart of their team.

I moved to Chelan in 1979. My first job was working for Ernie Gibson at Chelan Airways and his son who had the North Cascades Lodge concession. I fell in love with the visitor industry and this beautiful valley.

When my daughter Jenna was born, I decided to work for myself and since I had grown up in a “mom and pop” grocery store, the retail business was a natural fit. I looked around downtown Chelan for a missing concept and saw that there was no store selling merchandise to enjoy the great outdoor activities of the Lake Chelan Valley. Customers who enjoy activities such boating, swimming, water skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, running and hiking needed a store catering to them. These are activities that my family enjoys and obviously so do our visitors.

L.C. Sports offerings and product mix has changed and evolved over the years, we are always trying to keep it fresh and respond to what customers want to purchase , striving to provide a quality product that will last for years. 2015 will be my 30th year in business in downtown Chelan and I am thankful for the business opportunity, and all of my customers that have become friends over the years.

The Shirt Shop began in 1981 with a heat press machine, some transfers and a handful of shirts in an RV in the city park. We spent several years in various locations open only in the summer: the Lady Bug flower shop, upstairs in the Chelan Reality building, the Log Church. We finally found a year round home in our current home. Being open year round meant we needed to find more ways to fill the space and meet the needs of the Chelan community. A local high school student designed The Shirt Shop logo. A couple of our transfers have been originals created by a high school teacher and another local high school student. The Shirt Shop has always been family owned and operated. Now the 3rd generation is helping out. Over the years there have been many changes but the foundation of The Shirt Shop is still custom shirts using heat transfers and letters and good customer service.

After working at spas, resorts, chiropractic offices and other massage therapy offices, I was tired of watching massage therapy be misrepresented and overpriced.  In '09 I founded Bellamia with one goal; to provide a therapeutic, healing massage at a price Chelan Valley locals could afford.  Although our massages have been described as heavenly, we don't believe massage is spiritual.  We believe massage is a medicine and it is our goal to make your time on our tables as easy and comfortable as possible.  Whether you're coming to see us to relax or heal, I promise we will do everything we can to meet your massage therapy needs.
