National Bike to School Day 5/6/2014

This month is National Bike Month, and being celebrated tomorrow will be Bike to School Day around the nation. Earlier this month, Washington has been declared by the Leage of American Bicyclists the "Most Bicycle Friendly State" in the nation for the seventh year in a row.

Bike to School Day encourages not only physical activity with kids, but also educates on bicycle safety. Motorists are encouraged to be mindful of bicycle riders, and if you are one of the riders participating tomorrow, don't forget your helmet. For the adults, Bike to Work Day is Friday, May 16th.
