Motorists experienced delays Thursday afternoon when a two vehicle collision caused closures on Hwy 97 two miles north of Pateros.
90 year old Kathleen Pryor from Pateros, was transported to Three Rivers Hospital in Brewster, due to her injuries. This morning hospital officials could not provide her condition.
Pryor was heading south at about 2:20pm when her 2002 Dodge pickup went off the hwy. to the right then back across two lanes onto the northbound shoulder.
36 year old Brewster man, Timothy Isensee , went into the Southbound lane driving a 2006 Freightliner carrying apples, in an attempt to avoid hitting Pryor's. Pryor's pickup struck the rear of the trailer in the northbound lane.
Both driver were wearing their seatbelts and Isensee was not injured.
