Small Bear Spending Day At Wapato Point 5/16/2013
A small black bear traded its life in the wild for a short upscale vacation today- taking up residence at Wapato Point Resort in Manson since about 8 am this morning.
 
KOZI began following scanner reports shortly after 8am when Chelan County Sheriff Deputies received an informational call from Rivercom Dispatch of a bear cub walking along Madeline and Hyacinth roads near SingletonPark in Manson.
 
North Chelan County Sheriff Sergeant, Rob Huddleston, says that Fish and Wildlife was also called.
