If you thought you felt the earth move under your feet last Thursday--- you could be right.
At about 4 o’ clock Thursday afternoon, a minor earthquake hit the Chelan County side of the Columbia River, about 4 miles west of Entiat, in the Dinkelman Canyon Road area.
The earthquake, which was originally thought to be at a 3.0 magnitude, was quickly downgraded to a 2.2 magnitude-
Bill Steele, with the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network, says that earthquakes in this area are pretty common.
No damage was reported as a result of Thursday's earthquake, which measured at a depth of .1 miles deep.
