Brewster City Council gave their nod of approval for Mayor lee Webster to seek approval for a drinking water state revolving fund to update the BrewsterTrailer Park to improve both water quality as well as pinpoint water usage.
The funds, which is offered through the Washington State Department of Health, is a federal and state partnership program designed to provide low interest loans to public water systems aimed at increasing public health protection as part of the Safe Drinking Water Act.
Brewster Mayor, Lee Webster says the current situation at the trailer park has water operations on a closed loop.
The Trailer park water project is the second item on the City’s long term water comp plan- making the opportunity for a large financial kick back a perfect opening to cross it off the list.
The city hopes to know the outcome of the application by their May meeting."CLICK HERE" for Audio
