Some Chelan Residents Selected For Survey 4/22/2013
About 1500 homeowners in ChelanCounty have been selected to take part in a research study regarding their perceptions of wildfire risks.

The study, which is also taking place in areas of South Carolina and Texas, is being facilitated through County Fire Districts and County Emergency Management.

District 6 Fire Chief, Phil Mosher, who is leading the local effort in the research, says a survey will be sent to homeowners in five key areas within ChelanCounty.

Chief Mosher adds that those five focus areas in the county were chosen for specific reasons.

Those who were selected to take part in the research study have likely already received their initial notice, and results are expected to be tabulated by the end of May.
