False Alarms = New Fees In Brewster 4/15/2013
False burglary alarms at downtown businesses continue to plague the Brewster Police Department- prompting the Brewster City Council to pass a final resolution at their meeting last Wednesday that will charge a fee for repetitive call-outs.
Brewster Mayor, Lee Webster says the council unanimously, yet reluctantly passed the motion after repeated requests for businesses to fix their alarm systems resulted in no response.
The new fee system will take effect immediately  and will be billed through the City of Brewster Police Department.
