Bridgeport Offers Second Round Of Chipping 4/12/2013
The Bridgeport City Council is hosting their second annual Chipping event tomorrow- thanks in part to an “alternative to burn” grant through the Department of Ecology.

The grant required a 25% match from the city to purchase the chipper that allowed citizens to turn yard debris into more than 10 thousand pounds of mulch last fall.

Bridgeport Mayor, Marilynn Lynn, says the event will be held tomorrow from 9AM until 4PM.

Along with tomorrow’s chipping event, the City of Bridgeport will be holding one more- on Saturday, April 27th.
