Crupina Control Along Lake Chelan 3/26/2013
The Chelan Ranger District Personnel are gearing up for their Spring Noxious Weed Control along the upper east banks of Lake Chelan.

The infestation of Common Crupina is located along the lakeshore trail, between Prince Creek drainage and Hunts Bluff.

Chelan Ranger, Kari Grover-Weir, says that Crupina is classified as a Class A noxious weed.

The noxious weed control mission is expected to begin next month- and will likely take until early May to complete.
