Brewster Adjusts Rules To Stop Vandals 3/22/2013
The Brewster City Council has approved an ordinance aimed at allowing sportsmen in the CityPark, while keeping vandals out.

The ordinance does not change the hours of operation – which is ½ hour before sunrise to ½ hour after sunset- but instead, according to Brewster Mayor, Lee Webster, makes those carrying a fishing license or hunting permit exempt from park hours.

The new regulations will allow the Brewster Police Department to make contact with individuals in the park – and have a person to contact should vandalism or graffiti occur.

The Brewster City Council meets the second Wednesday of each month, and will meet next on Wednesday, April 10th at 6PM in the council chambers at BrewsterCity Hall.
