Mike Keys Rd Named In Honor of Local Man 1/17/2013
There’s a new road in town….well at least there is a road with a new name.

ChelanCounty Commissioners passed a resolution to name a road in Manson in honor of Mike Keys, a Manson graduate who lost his life in the Vietnam War at the age of 21.

ChelanCounty Commissioner, Doug England, says naming the road, which is off Ivan Morse Road in Manson, after Mike is well past due.

Mike’s family, many of whom were on hand for the road sign presentation, include sisters, Molly Hoots, of Manson, Sheila Malmberg, of Wenatchee, Virgina Knight of Spokane, Charlotte Keys, of NewportOregon and Angela White of GigHarbor. Mike’s two brothers are John Keys of Chelan and Jim Keys of Falls City.
