The Chelan City Council will hold their opening meeting of 2013 next Thursday which will mark the first get together in more than a month.
City Administrator, Paul Schmidt, says the agenda is full- and will include the selection of a Mayor Pro-Tem as well as committee selections.
Also on the agenda is a special presentation by Washington State Department of Transportation regarding the SR 150/No-See-Um intersection, at which time they will seek direction from the council as they head into the next legislative session.
Mayor Bob Goedde, says he recently learned that a piece of property has changed hands, which could change the way he feels about the intersection’s future.
Council is expected to take offer direction to WSDOT on what it would like to see happen at the SR 150/ No-See-Um Intersection.
Next week’s council meeting is scheduled for 6PM on Thursday, January 10th in Council Chambers at City Hall- located on Johnson Ave.
