The Chelan City Council voted in favor of renewing contracts with the Historic Downtown Chelan Association as well as the Chamber of Commerce during their regular meeting last week.
City Administrator, Paul Schmidt, explains that the contract with the Chamber involves usage of the bed tax monies to promote tourism, a job previously tasked to the Lake Chelan Tourism Promotion Group.
Mayor Goedde took time during last week’s in studio interview with KOZI to ask our listeners to weigh in on how they felt about the now or never approach the city is in with finding funding for the SR 150/No See-Um intersection.
