Columbia River Fish Populations Rising 9/4/2012
Though data shows most Columbia River fish populations are on the rise, that’s not the case for all species. Two species that are considered endangered or threatened are Steelhead and Spring Chinook Salmon.
The Upper Columbia Salmon Recovery Board is working hard to bring those populations back to healthy historical levels.
Recovery Board Executive Director,Julie Morgan, said their mission is to restore viable and sustainable populations of at-risk species through collaborative resource management.
