Chelan County Sheriff Introduces New Ride 6/28/2012
There’s a new sheriff in town- a new Sheriff cruiser that is.

ChelanCounty Sheriff’s Office recently unveiled one of its new 2012 Ford Interceptors- the replacement vehicle that will replace the aging and ailing cars within the Sheriff’s Office fleet.

The Crown Victoria, which has been the backbone of law enforcement patrol car fleets throughout the US - is being discontinued, and will no longer be available.

So, as the existing Crown Victoria’s are retired at the end of their service lives, they will be replaced by the new Fords.

North County Sergeant, Rob Huddleston, says the Sheriff, Brian Burnett was the first to receive his new patrol car, which is painted black.

The new Ford Interceptors promise to produce more power, predictable handling and better dynamic behavior.
