ChelanCounty Sheriff Deputies responded to a call in Manson, on Wells Avenue of an armed burglary in process at a residence just before 1:00 Thursday afternoon.

 

The caller said four men had surrounded her home, with guns and were attempting to break in.

 

Sergeant Huddleston said that when deputies arrived, there was no sign of the situation as described by the caller.

 

Deputies interviewed neighbors who said they did not see any disturbance around the caller’s residence.

 

Deputies cleared the scene and are considering the call unfounded.

 

As a precautionary measure, MansonSchool District, which is less than a mile from where the caller lives, did temporarily go into “lock-down” mode- but was quickly lifted when deputies declared the call unfounded.
