Community Rallies Support For Clayton 1/27/2012
Clayton Kimsey continues his road to recovery, and the Chelan community continues to rally support for the 15 year old high school freshman who suffered severe burns in a campfire accident at his home nearly two weeks ago.
In an exclusive interview KOZI sat down with Clayton’s sister, Tia, who recounted the events that took place on the night of Clayton’s accident.
And despite Clayton’s battle in the hospital, enduring painful surgeries and physical therapy- Tia says it isn’t himself he is worried about.
Tia, who spent some time in Seattle with her brother after the accident, returned home to Chelan to help keep everything in order, from the finances to feeding the animals. She admits that sometimes it’s tough being this far away from Clayton and plans to head back over as soon as she can.
We again thank Tia for that update and we here at KOZI will continue to wish Clayton a speedy recovery.
The Coins For Clayton account is active and accepting donations to help the Kimsey family with their mounting medical and travel expenses.
