State Patrol Enforcing Shoulder Parking 1/16/2012
With the prediction of snow in the forecast, an increased number of skiers are likely to head to the hills, and the Washington State Patrol is handing down a warning to not park on the shoulder of the highway.

Kandi Patrick, Washington State Patrol Lieutenant, says the shoulder parking was out of hand after the last snowfall, prompting a higher level of enforcement.

Motorists are also reminded to check road conditions prior to traveling this winter by going to the Washington Department of Transportation website at www.wsdot.wa.gov or by calling 511.
