Washington State’s Redistricting Commission will hold a special meeting tomorrow at 10:30 am.
Congressional Redistricting is dominating the discussion amongst those active in politics. The subject is extremely complex and occurs every 10 years. This time around it will add an additional congressional district in our state with a lot at stake.
John Wyss is the Government Affairs Director for Gebbers Farms in Brewster and very knowledgeable in the arena of politics at the local, state and federal level. We asked John for a “Redistricting 101” lesson to help us better understand the potential impacts…

Wyss also reminds us that this process doesn’t work without public comment, and encourages everyone to look at the proposed maps and then let the redistricting commission know what you think.
Tomorrow’s special meeting in
Olympia is open to the public and anyone interested in participating can attend in person, or by interactive webcast. There will be an opportunity for public comment.
