As of 11:30 a.m.:

Smoke from the Rainbow Bridge Fire in Stehekin can be seen from Omak, Brewster, the Methow Valley and all the way down through the Lake Chelan Valley.

Kerry Olson, spokeswoman for the National Parks Service in Stehekin, talked with KOZI's Scott Rusk live this morning...

The Rainbow Creek Trail is closed from Stehekin Valley Road to McAlester Pass; and the Rainbow Lake Trail is closed from the Rainbow Creek Trail to Rainbow Meadows.

The Chelan Douglas Health District offices are closed today, so no air quality advisories have been issued, but if you have respiratory issues you may want to use caution when you venture outside today.

The Lady of the Lake and Chelan Seaplanes told KOZI that it’s business as usual so far today, and the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce says the fire hasn’t impacted activities in the area.

Stay tuned for all the latest fire news.
