IN SOCCER:

The Manson Lady Trojans soccer team ended their hard-fought season with a loss on the road at Oroville. An early goal at about 5 minutes in was enough for the Hornets to claim victory. Manson battled throughout the game, stifling the Oroville attack with their signature high pressure defense with Daisy and Mirian Leyva leading the way. However, on the offensive side the Lady Trojans had trouble creating good chances. Nadia Tejada and Jasmine Valdovinos came closest towards the end but it wasn’t enough as the equalizing goal never came.
The season ends with a number of close calls and a huge improvement from all of the ladies. With only two seniors graduating there is much to look forward to in the coming years!
