They could not have asked for better weather, but the tennis looked unmistakably like kids who were experiencing their 1st day back from spring break, says Coach Rothlisberger. However, performances did improve as the matches went on.  There were very few close matches today.  Almost every win was decisive.

 Girls:  Chelan 5, Quincy 0

#1 Singles:  Emma McLaren def Brynn Niewwenhuis 6-0, 6-0

#2 Singles:  Elle Rothlisberger def Hailey McKee 6-2, 3-6, 6-0

#3 Singles:  Katelyn Deal def Sarah Dominguez 6-0, 6-1

#1 Doubles:  Sierra Rothlisberger/Madeline Peebles def Dani Ronish/Daisy Ramirez 6-0, 6-1

#2 Doubles:  Sydney Hawkins/Abby Martin def Bridgette Hodges/Ashli Arellano 6-1, 6-1

 The Chelan girls improve to 5-0 on the year.

 

Boys:  Quincy 3, Chelan 2

#1 Singles:  Micah Larson (C) def Louis Merred 6-3, 6-2

#2 Singles:  Efrem Roseburg (Q) def Alex Gavin 6-2, 6-1

#3 Singles:  Joahan Fregoso (Q) def Tyler Higgins 6-1, 6-2

#1 Doubles:  Gates Petersen/Randy Hodges (Q) def Wyatt Habich/Tobin Wier 6-1, 6-1

#2 Doubles:  Eli Phelps/Steven Williams (C) Sam Ronish/Taggart Hodges 6-2, 6-4

 The Chelan boys are now 4-2 on the season.

Bella Gatzemeier/Nadia VanWechel won 8-0

Cailee Parham/Isa Evans won 8-6

Lana Fielding/Madi Latter won 8-3

Emmalee and Lani Folsom won 8-6
