[12/8/16] Grant Applications Being Accepted For Methow Valley Fund’s Annual Distribution

Grant applications are now being accepted for the Methow Valley Fund’s annual grant distribution process. Established in 2006, the fund aims to provide sustainable funding for non-profit organizations that address community needs and enhance the quality of life in the Methow Valley. Betsy Cushman is a member of the fund’s board:

The types of programs supported include equipment pruchases, marketing outreach, school field trips and education, as well as family health services. Cushman says organizations can apply for up to five-thousand dollars in grant money:

Cushman adds that 60-thousand dollars in grant money is usually given out each year, with about 120-thousand dollars in grant requests.
