70th Annual Apple Pie Jamboree


The Apple Pie Jamboree is an annual event that brings together the best of our community to raise money for local students, clubs and community groups. We will be celebrating our 70th year!

This year’s Apple Pie Jamboree is full of great events, fun, friends and family! There will be jet-ski races, jamboree jog-a-thon race, hoop shoot fundraiser, quilt show, bingo, dunk tank, kids games, live music, car show, 26th anniversary Ray Stanley memorial  bass tournament, salmon dinner, street dance, fireworks, and so much more entertainment,! How could anyone not have a great time!

Bring the family and spend the weekend enjoying all the best of Pateros!

The Apple Pie Jamboree is an annual event that brings together the best of our community to raise money for local students, clubs and community groups. The Apple Pie Jamboree is better than ever with even more events, fun, friends and family! Included in the fun-filled Jamboree weekend are Jet Ski races on the Columbia, the Ray Stanley Memorial Bass Tournament, and Samaritan Riders Benefit. These events operate independently, not involved in APJ fundraising, administration, or philanthropy.

Come and spend the weekend in Pateros. Camping is available at Alta Lake State Park, Lightning Pine RV, Whistlin’ Pine Ranch and many more beautiful areas surrounding Pateros. For more camping information click here.

3 on 3 Basketball


Saturday July 15th, 2017 – 8:00 am

The tournament begins on July 15, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. in the Pateros Mall parking lot on Lakeshore Drive. There will be 3 point and free throw shooting contests, beginning at 11:00a.m, running through tournament play.

Registration is $70.00 per team for early registration by July 11, 2017 and $85.00 after the 11th, with registration closed after midnight on July 13, 2017. The tournament is open to Adults, High School (grades 9-12) and Youth (grades 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8) – all based on 2016-2017 school year.

Downtown Parade

Saturday July 15th, 2017 – 10:30 am

Our parade is always memorable! Horses, collector cars, carriages and more. Registration is required. Line up begins at 9:00 am Saturday morning. The parade begins at 10:30 am. Come have some fun!

Great Kids Games

Saturday July 15th, 2017 -afternoon

Kids games, coin scramble, horse rides, water balloons and more! Enjoy the fun carnival atmosphere all day Saturday in the park!

Pateros H.S. Seniors

KFC Dinner

Saturday July 15th, 2017 – 5:00 pm

The Pateros High School seniors host this annual community dinner.


Jamboree Jog

Saturday July 15th, 2017 – 6:30 am

A beautiful 1 mile or 5k race around scenic Pateros. Start the day off right with some competition and exercise. Signup online or prior to event, 6:30 a.m., July 15th. Medals will be awarded in all divisions.

JetSki Races

Saturday July 15th, 2017 – 12:00 pm
Sunday July 16th, 2017 – 11:00 am

On both Saturday and Sunday The Apple Pie Jamboree features some of the world’s best Jet Ski racers and freestylers.
Racing and freestyle events will take place Saturday and Sunday. Riders will be competing for national points and a chance to earn a berth to the World Finals.
Come meet the competitors during the Jet Ski Racer Party, beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, at SweetRiver Bakery.

Quilt Show

Saturday July 15th, 2017 – 9:00 am

The quilt show is sponsored by the Columbia River Quilt Guild with members from Brewster, Bridgeport and Pateros. We meet the first Wednesday of every month. Anyone interested in quilting is welcome. For more information contact Lisa Schluneger at 509-733-1214.
The show will be in the Central Building.

Ray Stanley Memorial

Bass Tournament

Saturday July 15th, 2017 – 5:00 am – 3:00 pm

Registration is from 4:00-4:30 a.m. on the day of the tournament. Pay-out is 75% of entry fee. There will be a Drivers Meeting at 4:30 am. Awards are made for 1st place per 5 boats, and there are 2 Big Fish Pots with 100% pay-out. Local merchants have donated participation gifts for every boat entered.
